Car had a throttle body wire short circuit and then I had to replace the throttle body with. At the same time I replaced the cam sensor which was broken. I managed to get a used throttle body which has after I installed it was working better then the previous one, but it came with its own problem which is high idling above 1,000 rpm's.
i took my scanner and scanned since YouTube told me I need to do a throttle body adoption but when I scan for faults it told me this 01087 - Basic Setting Not Performed 27-00 - Implausible Signal)
which I don't know how to do I tried using VCDS software to go to basic settings to try it but nothing the idle is still high.

Unfortunately we don't have this engine so I can't get you the procedure from the manual but the throttle body is out of alignment.

However, if you have the VCDS here is a video on how to perform this procedure.

Let me know if you are doing this as described for your equipped vehicle. If you are and it still does not solve the issue then I suspect the throttle body is the issue.

Let me know how you make out with this.
