Welcome to 2CarPros.

I can't imagine that it is going to get past the valves and into the exhaust, so I suspect it is still sitting on the piston. When it was started, was there a lot of noise? Have you tried getting it with a magnet?

They make a scope camera that is used to get into small places for inspection. You may want to contact a local parts store and see if they have one to rent. That way you can see where it is and if any damage was done.

Let me know if I can help.

Thank you for getting back at me. When I started it it just made like a little rattle like sound I made a home made magnet. And finally got two pieces out I guess I broke the socket when I started it up.

Welcome back:

Wow, you are lucky it didn't break a piston or valve. Honestly, if it broke, chances are the small pieces are in the exhaust somewhere. However, I really suggest getting a scope and checking to make sure nothing is lodged in there.

Let me know if I can help.
