I've been hearing, anytime our car is driving above 30-35 MPH, this thumping or heartbeat noise that accelerates when you go faster i.E. Driving on a freeway but is completely missing when going slower than the speed above. Three mechanics have listened to this noise and two have inspected the bottom of the car and all say they see nothing wrong. What can I suggest for them to re-look at based on this noise?

Hi,

I listened to the video, but don't think I heard what you referred to. I did notice a click about three times but assume that is moving the recorder around. Is that correct?

On the other hand, often times a failing wheel bearing can cause this. Take notice if the sound changes when you are turning left or right and let me know what you find.

I will watch for your reply.

Hi Joe, here’s another video where the sound is clearer after about the 5 second mark. It doesn’t change when I move the wheel. Usually, bearings are more of a whistling noise.

Hi,

Bearings can be difficult at times. I listened to the video and only heard a click. It appears the phone is near the floor on the passenger side. Is it the click you are referring to?
