Heli coil is the cheapest/easiest way to fix a blownout plug. Other wise yo need another head. Ithink they are aunder $50 at auto parts

Heli-coil is only way to repair. However, you need to pull the sparkplug tube. That is pressed into cylinder head, and is usually damaged on removal. Once you get it out, make sure you put gear grease on the helicoil tap to catch any metal shavings. Follow the instructions, you should be ok. Just make sure to replace the tube if you damage it, and your going to need a valve cover gasket. Have the parts before you do the job so your prepared.
