Head Bolt socket size needed?

Trying to find out what the name and size of the socket used to remove the header bolts to change the head gaskets on the vehicle listed above.

Hi,

What you need is a 12-point 12mm socket. See pic 1 below. However, I have found that regardless of how good the socket is, they are still loose. MAC tools make a special 12-point head bolt socket for Nissan that works well on these. You can try a regular 12-point socket, but if you suspect it may strip the bolt, don't use it.

The MAC part number is SC189R

If you have a 1/2" 12 point, try that before getting a new one. One other thing, make sure to follow the directions in pic 2 below.
