Headlight does not work

Hi, I drive the truck listed above 1500. The driver side headlight stopped working. I thought it was the bulb so I replaced the bulb and that worked for a day or two and then it stopped working as well. I got out the old light and checked the continuity and it is still good. Does anybody know what could be wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

It honestly sounds like the socket is bad. Remove the bulb again and inspect the socket. Are the connectors in it clean? Do they appear burnt or discolored? Does the bulb fit tightly into the socket? Does the new bulb pins where it plugs in look like they were hot?
