I had a po201 open injector circuit cylinder one replaced harness on driver side because I had no voltage at injector one. After the harness was replaced, I had voltage but still had cylinder one open circuit. I swap injectors around no change in codes. Swap injector drivers have no change. Checked wiring to ECU everything seems fine. All of a sudden code goes away but now it’s throwing random injector codes could this be an ECU problem?

Hello,

This could be due to an issue with the ECU, however this code P0201 typically gets triggered due to a fault in the circuit. If the resistance value is off, it can get triggered.

To figure out why you are getting this code it will require a deep dive into diagnostics.

I have attached the trouble shooting procedure for the code P0201 below.
It will require a multimeter to get started.
Follow those steps and that should help you determine the issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Hi, thanks for your response. I followed this step on the diagram attached. I found a pins O and S my meter read OL in ohms. All the other pins read with 2.3 ohms within spec. I also wanted to add besides the injector codes the VSC light the turns on, brake light comes on, power steering warning comes on. Only after code is cleared and check engine comes back on.

The VSC and brake warning light are probably related. However not sure why you would get the power steering waring light.

What kind of drivability issues are you having?

So, for the pin O and S the out of limit reading is likely due to a break in the wire.
The trick would be to trace the wire and find the issue. The car stalls due to the ECM not being able to get reading from the injector.
