Goes in and out of overdrive

Had new transmission installed 2 years ago.
No check engine light on, doesn't show any bad codes
Will not stay in overdrive until I reach about 60 MPH, before that it constantly goes in and out.
I have someone that will work on it for free, I just need to know what parts to buy and try. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you check the transmission fluid? Also, what gears is it jumping in and out of? From 1st to overdrive? Also what size engine do you have and is it a 2wd or 4wd?

The trans fluid is full and the engine is 6.0, all wheel drive.
It's hard to explain in text but all gears seem to shift fine until it reaches the last one and kicks into overdrive. It will not stay there, goes in and out. I hear the engine rev up and down, like going from 3rd to drive, I watch the RPM's gauge go up and down slightly, every second. If I put the car in 3rd or push the "haul" button, it's fine, or if it is in drive, as soon as I reach 60 it drives normal.
Hope all this makes sense. Thank you so much for your reply.

It may be something as simple as a speed sensor or a solenoid but it also could be your transmission is failing again. I would take it back to the transmission shop and have them run a diagnostics on it, they will have a scan tool that will read the trans and see what it's doing.
