hi, im martan,
im a diagnostic auto computer technician here in saudi arabia. Im trouble the 2008 yukon with high idle speed 2400 idle speed. Coould you help me reseting the idle speed to normal. Using tech2 scanner.

Build the vehicle, 08 yukon etc. Go under engine then engine controls, then scroll down to module set up, then idle relearn. Ignition ON, engine OFF, perform the Idle Learn Reset in Module Setup with a scan tool.
Start the engine and monitor the TB Idle Airflow Compensation parameter. The TB Idle Airflow Compensation value should equal 0 percent and the engine should be idling at a normal idle speed.
Clear the DTCs and return to the diagnostic that referred you here. I would advise better but I dont have a tech 2 in front of me. Post back with any other questions.
