Noises problem
2002 GMC Yukon V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a noise coming from under the front of the vehicle, the noise sounds like whining of tires and disappears when vehicle is at low speeds. I thought was tires. I have replaced tires, the noise is still there? I am thinking front left wheel hub? How can I tell if this noise is a carrier bearing or axle noise versus a hub bearing?
appreciate any insiight you can shead on this?

thanks

Sounds like a bad hub bearing, try this test, get up to the speed the noise starts, then quickly turn left, then straight, then right, do this on a straight section of road, if the noise goes away during one of the turns, the opposite bearing is bad. If noise does not go away, then it's inside the pumpkin, carrier or pinion bearing.
