2000 GMC Yukon 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 184000 miles

My Low Coolant Light comes on about every 5-10 days, why? Do I need to be concerned? The milage is mostly highway miles but I now live in the city and travel less than 10 miles a day. It's in great condition.

make sure the coolant is full in the resivoir.
