Why would water draining from drain port onto the ground from truck? Is it supposed to?

You should relaly clarify which drain port. No it's not supposed to drain from the a/c drain if that is what you are talkin bout. If it is the color of antifreeze you need a new heater core. If it is the color of water, then it may just be the a/c draining the water out like it is supposed to do.
