1994 GMC Truck Temperature Gauge

The temperature gauge on my 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 truck keeps showing that the engine is overheating when it isn't. I replaced the thermostate, the radiator and the water pump before I realized it really wasn't overheating - is there a sensor that could be faulty? Where is it located?

Yes, there is a coolant temp sensor, but the locations are different on each vehicle. It also matters if you have a light, or a guage. Check with a parts store, and they can tell you the location for your application.
