1980 GMC Truck Head Lights

1980 GMC Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200, KM miles

Before I changed motors I had head lights, but pasanger one was dim. Fiirst I disconected battery then proceded to swap motors. I have stop lights, turn signals and hazard lights but no head lights or dash llights.

I am assuming your changed the engine. You may have left off the wire that is SUPPOSED to be connected to the back of the head to the front of the dash. That is a ground wire. Also there is one that goe from teh battery to the fender. Or you may have cut a wire going to theheadlghts. A thing to try though is disconnect your dimmer switch on the floor. Alot of times corrosion gets on that from getting in and out of the truck. Turn the headlights on and see if they work. If not then check to see if you are actually getting power to your headlight. Also fix the ground on the one haeadlight that is dim, that's why it's doiing that.
