1999 GMC Suburban right rear blinker / brake lights don't w

Help, the blinker and brake light on the right rear do not work. I get a fast blink / click when the right turn signal is on. The left side works fine and the right front works fine. I changed the right rear bulb but no luck. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had same problem, changed bulbs several times over 3 years to no avail. Tried tracing could not find short. Went crazy off roading on the beach and must have jarred something loose, now works perfect. Really just telling you to have some fun with your truck cause you never know what might happen. Still works to this day.
