I recently purchased this vehicle. I have a musty smell inside my vehicle, with the vents on and or heater and a/c on, smell is about the same. This smell reminds me of having a dust leak on a gravel road. It actually plugs the sinuses after driving for a little while. I checked to see if I had any noticeable leaks and I can't find anything. I wonder if there is a in cab air filter that needs to be replaced. Some people I have talked to say it is sounds like a mold problem. It doesn't smell like mold to me. The oder smells like really old oil--not burning oil, just old oil. The engine looks clean no oil leaks. Please let me know if anybody has had this problem before.

There is no cabin air filter listed for you truck. Now what you can try is check with you local parts stores and see if any have the vent deoderizer. This is in a spray form and you spray it through the vents and it kills odors. I must ask has this truck sat any long period of time?

I have tried a couple of deodorizers but none have come close to helping. It is possible that this vehicle has set for awhile.

Have you checked under the seats for anything that may be left there? Have you cleaned the carpets? It may be something was spilled on the carpet and never really cleaned up? If there is no leaks then there must something that was left behind or it was wet from winter and left to set for a while.
