There ar a couple of things here. First you have to check if the pump is actually getting power to the tank. And then make sure the pump is installed correctly and also on some of these the wires in the tank would go bad and not make a connection making you think it was a bad pump. The wires are the fine ones that lead from outside the tank to the pump itself.
