1992 GMC Sonoma hesitant to accelerate with pushing the gas

Could this be the catalytic converter and if so could it be run with out the catalytic converter

Hello,

Yes it could be the cat. But it could also be a few other things.

Is your check engine light on? If so will need to pull codes.

Have you check the plugs wires cap and rotor. Check fuel Pressure, fuel filter, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Timing.
