2007 GMC Sierra my truck was flooded

i have a 07 gmc sierra diesel is was flooded all the way up i had another wrecked i swap everything from one to the other i kept the flooded one and it turns out i cant start it i think the computer needs to be reprogram because it was from the other truck but i dont know i switched everything from one truck to the other

try disconnecting the positive side of the battery for a minute. The loose cable you took off touch to the ground. this will remove any other voltage in the system. There may be other problems in the wiring but this is worth ythe try. After grounding the system of r a minute then hook the positive side cable back to the battery. The computer should pick up on the new system. Sometimes there are little diferences between computers .
