My GMC pickup truck stalls intermittingly.I can drive for 5 miles or 50 miles but at some point the truck will just stall and I need to coast to a stop.I have changed the fuel pump but it still has the problem. If I wait a period of time - could be 10 minutes or 45 minutes the truck will start again and seems to run fine. Any ideas?

This does not seem to solve my problem. It appears to be something with being hot. If I wait a period of time it will start again.

You did say there are no codes? SES not lit? Check the crank sensor, some are temp sensitive when going bad. Does it crank? Or nothing when the key is turned?

Start with the basics, and work your way up, Last tune up was? Wires plugs ALL filters? If all that is ok, check for a stuck EGR, then test fuel pump pressure, If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!
