Drive shaft was damaged and replaced ran great for weeks and now is leaking fluid and the fliter in the trany pan was broken and the pan was bad. We replaced the trany pand and a new filter and gasket. It has a drip at the gasket in the trany maybe where it joins up with the casing

If the pan is leaking, you can try making it tighter, but that usually results in it leaking more. Chances are you will need to have it removed and replaced again. If there aren't many miles on it since the work was done, I would return to the person and have them fix it (under warranty).
