My truck just started to jerk when it shifts in to gear, and one time it didnt shift up when accelerating. What is the problem?

Sounds like shift solenoid problem. But best bet is to find the transsmission codes in the computer and post back.

Original transmisison?

Yes its the origianl transmission, Transmission fluid is higher than it should be to could this be part of the problem, besides check for the code.

Wishful thinking.I can empathyze.

Based on past experience, I would look into a rebuild. Japser perhaps. Once you get inside and fix the current problem, another is right behind. At that point the cost becomes excessive. 80,000 maybe.
Regardless get the codes and we can go from there. But prepare for another in case.

730 doesn't sound right, not to mention I have no reference in my software for a 730. Should recheck.

I still think is is a shift solenoid acting up.
