My oil pan started leaking right through the pan rotted out. I have a pan and gasket but seems like a big job to remove old pan being as 4wd is in the way. What do I need to remove to do this job? Jack the engine, remove cv joint? Thanks

You didn't say which engine it had. This is for 4.3L engine
Un bolt all these or remove
Oil pan skid plate bolts and plate, if equipped

Engine oil and filter

Crossmember bolts and bar

On 4WD, the front differential carrier

Battery cable bracket bolts.

Starter

Transmission cover

Positive battery cable clip bolt

Oil level sensor electrical connector

Transmission

Oil level sensor and discard
