1996 GMC Sierra Blowing IGN - A Fuse

Stopped my truck at home today and when I tried to start it 5 minutes later the IGN - A fuse blew. Replaced it, and as soon as I turned the ignition from "on" to "start" it blew again. The starter was replaced about 20,000 miles ago with an O'Reily remanufactured one. Never an issue until today. Help!

Hi tileguy88,

Thank you for the donation.

Unplug the starter relay.
Install new fuse.
Turn ignition to START

If fuse does not blow, the fault lies with the starter motor or the wiring circut between the relay to starter solenoid.
