Tranny Shifting oddly

Once again on my mothers 2000 Buick Park Avenue I notice after driving it a while, when shifting from reverse to drive, or park to drive, or what have you the car moves foward, and if you have your foot on the brake it kind of jults foward. Not hard. But harder then a luxury car should.

My 2002 PArk Avenue shifts without any movement, and I dont notice it EVER.

The dealer says the transmission needs to be flushed and thats whats causing it. Because there is no lube between gears

Is this true?

How many miles since a transmission flush? You should have the transmission serviced every 30,000 miles. The fluid should be red in color. If it is low or brown in color I would recommend this anyway. With the engine warm and running, and parking brake on. Shift to drive, then to park. Remove dipstick, wipe dry, insert it and remove it again.
