Loose steering colume, tilt not working

On a 1998 Pontiac grand prix miliage 103,000. The steering colume is loose at the tilt. Please send me proceedure to repair the colume and if I will need any special tools to tighten the tilt mechanism.

Do you have a drivers's side air bag? If yes, by the sounds/tone of your question, this is a repair that would be better made by a certified mechanic.

Tools: steering wheel puller is a must but if the tilt knuckle is shot and you don't have a repair manual, invest in your own safety and have it done by a pro.
