Please bare with me. My car a 94 formula firebird was dying after decelrations, basically after slowing down for lights or in parking lots and so on. The dealer said it was the EGR sensor and solenoid valve(vacuum). So I replaced it myself and for about a week and a half it was beautiful(execpt for having a trouble starting, it would turn over for a litlle bit then start). Now my car is doing the same thing, it dies at red lights, in parking lots and basically anytime I slowdown. It does this when ever it likes not everytime. I dont have money to be changing parts and guessing. I have no check engine light on. I have some knowledge of cars and I guess it could be the IAC(idle air control), the TPS(throttle position sensor), or even my fuel pressure and pump. My pump is new from about 7 months ago. Any guidance or hhelp would be greatly appreciated.

I would clean the IAC real good. Usually carbon deposits will build up in the unit and cause problems. Could be the fuel pump failing or just the injectors need cleaning.

Are you going over 50MPH prior to slowing down and coming to a stop?

Can you start it right up and continue driving, or does it die out after putting it in gear again?

No im not going over 50 before it dies. When it turns off I put it neutral and it cranks right back up. Also last night it was cold and it wouldnt stay on, I had to crank it on and keep it accelerated I guess till it warmed up for about 10 minutes. Ths car has rebuilt engine and large percent of parts were changed last year alone including gas pump.
