My friend has a 95 Grand Am GT, and I'm trying to put in a CD player for her. She didn't buy the wiring harness, so I'm hooking it up to the factory wiring harness. My problem is that the color wires I need, I can't find. I also dont have constant power. It comes in spurts, and the speakers only work when the wires are held a certain way. Any suggestions?

Should have bought the harness for $20. Should never cut the factor harness as the wires degrade with age and connections often suffer.

6 Illumination + [Not Used]
7 Dimmer [Gray]
8 Antenna Trigger [Pink (If Available)]
9 Switched (Ignition) + 12 volts [Yellow*]
10 Constant (Battery) +12 volts [Orange]
11 Rear Right - [Light Blue]
12 Rear Right + [Dark Blue]
13 Rear Left - [Yellow*]

*Most common mistakes are using the wrong yellow wire for power.
