I recently asked you how to reset the distributor and rotor on a 1995 GMC Jimmy cause I rebuilt the motor and didnt put the distributor back in correctly. Well I still cant get the car to start after following your instructions and now I have gas in my oil pan. What could have caused this and what can I do to fix both problems. Its been 4 weeks now and I dont know what to do. Any info is helpful! Thanks. Chris[/b]

It sounds like you have been trying to start the car so much that the fuel has dripped past your rings and into the oil pan.

Change your oil. Set your dist with #1 cylnder at tdc and yoiur rotor facing #1 cylnder in the dist cap

Another thought, make sure your cam and crank are properly aligned.
