Truck was in rearend accident (was hit) at an angle while I was parked. Since then, it jerks forward a little when shifts gears. There's also a smail rubbing noise from the right side. There was VERY little body damage. Need to get in for body estimate. Should I get this checked out also & will insurance pay for it since it wasn't happening before? Any idea what it could be? I had a new transmission put in last year.

Well it could be a number of things. It could be that an axle got bent (not very common) depending on how hard it was hit. It could be a bent rim or a bad axle bearing or if it was pushed could have cause a trany problem. However it was caused from the accident so it needs to told to the insurance adjuster that there is a problem and it was not there before. Then get it checked to find out what it is and get an estimant on the body work. Now keep in mind that you can pick any repair shop you want. There insured hit you not you hit them so don't let them push you to one of there approved repair shops as this shop will probably use aftermark or wrecking yard parts this why they are on there list is because they will do the work cheaper. In most states it is even illegal to suggest you go to there prefered shop. So what I am saying is stand you ground as they will try to push you around to settle.
