1999 GMC Jimmy Flashing 4 x 4 light will not engage

I got it to go into 4x4 low once but took a lot of fidlling to get back in 2 high. It will not lock in at all now. I have my blend door motor disconnct for a heat issue but couls use some help on what to look at next. I checked the fuse. OK thank you Dan

Dan:
It sounds like there is a problem with the actuator on the transfer case. Remove the electric plug from it and see if you're getting power to it. If you are, replace the actuator.
