My truck will turn over but will not start, any idea what it may be. When gas is put in carb in front the truck will start. What is wrong?

Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn key to run? If so check the fuel pressure and then comeback with the readings

When you turn the key on without cranking the engine over do you hear the fuel pump running in the tank? Also will it run if your spray starting fluid into the intake? Do you have spark? These videos and guides can help us get your engine running again.
