The check engine light came on two days before my problem. When I put the key in the ignition I have power the cluster, when I turn the key to start the engine I lose all electical power. The cluster loses all power and the engine will not start. No power to the start as well.

First, start at the beginning. Check the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight. Also, check the ground to the engine block. To me, based on your description, it sounds like a bad connection.
