The latest OBD II Scan which I had performed on my 1995 GMC Jimmy revealed a EGR Valve error.
"Pintle 10 degrees out of adjustment"
Can you tell me what are the long range effects to
my Engine if I can not replace the EGR Valve
immediately and still drive the vehicle?
Thank you

Higher emissions and lower fuel mileage. However you may not need to replace the EGR. You could remove it. MANUALLY clean it and then run a test cycle on it. Then reset the ECM so it relearns the system. Then see if the error still exists.
