2002 GMC Envoy not driving a second car for 6 months

I buying a used GMC Envoy to drive in the winter in Michigan. I have a Saturn that I'll drive in the summer. I do not have a garage. Is this a good idea? Can I let one vehicle sit idle for 6 months and drive another. My theory is use the 4 wheeler in winter and the saturn in summer to save on gas.

Hi there,

you should at least give it a run once a week to keep all the seals from drying out otherwise you may find that you will have problems when you cone to drive it after a long lay off.
