2002 GMC Envoy change oil light staying on after the oil ha

I just took my car to have the oil changed in it yesterday, & my change oil light is still staying on after it has been changed-how do I correct this?

Ever car is different and it will tell you for sure in the owners manual. Im pretty sure on the steering wheel controls if you go into oil life index you can press reset and return it to 100 percent
