Had qa autopage alarm installed 18 mos ago and part of the install was they removed a bar about 12 inches long in the door. This was to keep someone form breaking into the truck. I have the bar and I need to replace it and go back to the normal way of locking and unlocking the truck. I cannot use my key at this time since the bar has been removed.

Thanks

I haven't heard of anyone removing a control rod for the locks for that reason? I would go back to the installer and make him re-install iot, if the retaining clips arent there, you would be wasting your time, that said, get the door trim removal tool to pop the plastic anchors out of the plastic holes. bend gantly as you go if you break any of the door trimp holding sections, thats it...it will not hold any more! Look for screws at the bottom corners, and at the pull strap area.
