About a week ago I noticed that my tachometer was behaving erratically and ended up buried at top end when it was obvious that the truck was running fine. Today the speedometer and tachometer are both registering incorrect readings. Is this mechanical or electrical and what's the fix?

Sounds like a bad connection at the instrument cluster. Might need to remove it and check connector for corrosion and or loose connections. Those get 2 different signals to work, so it could just be a bad connection
