I replaced all my brake pads, put on a left pivot arm and now my ABS light is on. my truck also has started shifting when it shouldn't.

Have car scanned with scanner. ABS sets a "C" chassis code.
Most autoparts stores can only scan "P" powertrain codes, so you will have to find a garage that can scan "C" codes.
