Brakes problem
2000 GMC C1500 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 48.000 miles

I GOT THE ANSWER YESTERDAY FOR BLEEDING THE BRAKE SYSTEM AFTER THE SOME 35 FT. OF RUST OUT BRAKE LINES WERE CHANGED. TALKING TO THE MECHANIC TODAY, TOLD HE DID ALL THAT BUT HE CAN GET NOTHING PASS BEYOND THE ABS, SO THERE IS NO FLUID TO THE BRAKES TO BLEED, THIS IS DONE WITH THE IGNITION ON.I TOLD HIM ALSO THAT DURING THAT 240 M. TRIP ON 3 OCCASIONS A WARNING SCREEN CAME ON [ SERVICE THE 4W DRIVE], THE 3D TIME IT STAYED ON TILL MY BRAKE LINES EXPLODED FROM HEAVY CORROSION ABOUT 18" PRIOR TO THE ABS. I RECALL PROBLEMS AS EARLY AS 16.000 M. WHICH FELT LIKE ABS. THE DEALER DISCOUNTED THE PROBLEM AT THIS TIME WITH NEW ROTORS AND PADS NEVER SINCE HAVE OTHER THAN SHITTY BRAKES TILL RECENTLY WHEN REPLACED 2 CALIPERS, ANY NEW SUGGESTIONS?

Tell him not to pump the pedal, open righr rear bleeder, push pedal down and hold, close bleeder, let the pedal up, COUNT to 10-15 then repeat until you get fluid. Make sure the master does not run dry...repeat on lr, rf, lf. Then follow these directions for ABS...
