I have a 1998 4X4 gmc 1500 half ton. It's a 5.7L V8, with 223,000km automatic tranny. My question is, I ran a diagnostics check with an ODBII code reader, and these are the codes that came up. 1404--EGR Valve closed pintle position, 430--Catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2), 405--Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A circuit low. I need to know what the codes are, what the EGR Valve is and looks like, and anything else u can tell me about all the codes.
