1998 GMC C1500 hesitation/engine stall in rain/snow conditi

My engine will hesitate after 10 minutes of road driving in the rain or slushy conditions. It will sometimes backfire if bad enough and stall. If stall it will not start unless I put a hairdryer by the distibutor for 15 minutes then fine. I have replaced wires, plugs, rotor, cap, coil x 2 sprayed the ignition sealer etc. Out of ideas.

With the engine running, spray a mist of water where you think the problem is and see if there is any arching. Best to do in the dark. Also, make sure the ground to the engine block is clean and tight.
