1997 GMC C1500 leaks

I have a friend that has changed the front seal and the oring behind the shaft that the tork converter fits on, and also took the pump out and replaced that seal but it still leaks. Can you help?

Hi there,

if the leak is still coming from the front of the transmission, you will have to remove and inspect foe a damaged seal, if the torque converter was not fitted up squarely and you did not lubricate the seal first, you may have nicked the seal surface causing a new leak. You will have to re inspect all your work carefully.
