1995 GMC C1500 car wont start

Tried starting car this morning, but it wont switch over. Full tank of gas, brand new battery. Belts look fine and intact.

Hello, if your saying the starter won't crank, I'd still have to check that the battery has a full charge and that the battery connections are clean and tight on both ends. Have you tried cranking in neutral? You may have to check that the purple wire at the starter solenoid is hot, with the key in the crank position?
