1994 GMC C1500 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1994 gmc xcab 4x4 with a 5.7 and a bad tranny. Can I use a tranny out of a 1999 suburban with the same motor and tranny to replace it? If not what do I need. Thanks

Your transmission is computerized, what makes you think you have a bad transmission? If the transmission on the suburban is the same one computerized. There should be no problem.
