Air Conditioning problem
1984 GMC C1500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The air condition was working fine then the high setting for the blower stopped working. It worked on every other setting except the high when all of the sudden the rest of the settings went out too. Could it be my resistor assy- blower motor?

There is a relay for high speed and the resistors operate the lower speeds. It can be the switch or the resistors or you could have blown a fuse. We don't have diagrams for that old of a vehicle so you'll have to look around. There may be one aoff the alternator line for the blower. A test light should be able to help you diagnose the problem. If you get power to the resistor then it may be the resistor for the lower speeds, and the relay should or may be by the blower motor.
