Engine warning light that started off with glow plug light

Hi I have a diesel, my glow plug light has been coming on recently and now the engine management light, but also today the steering warning light came on and started making a pinging noise. I cannot figure out what it is. It is booked in for a diagnostics test tomorrow, but I was just wanting a heads up.

Proberbly a faulty glow plug, but the code you get will help if you can post these it will be a big help.

Ive had the diagnostics test done and it came back with nothing but now all my warning lights are on and my speedo isnt working :/

This will probably be an electrical problem, may be a bad earth check all earth points and check main engine loom harness plug is secure and pins have no corrosion.

Car drives ok then starts to shudder then loss of acceleration usually 3rd gear got to drop it down to1st gear to get acceleration then it clears sometimes glow plug light flashes, if u stop engine then start again light goes out then eventually u get acceleration and problem clears

Just to start try changing your fuel filter if you haven't recently. It really sounds like the fuel pressure is dropping out at times. Check and or change all the filters if its time. They make more difference than you know
