1990 Geo Storm loss power

1990 Geo Storm 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 170.00 miles

I found that 2 pistons of my geo are no working I checked the wires all have spark I take out the 2 spark plugs and found that they are clean what will be the possible cause of it

If they are next to each other it may have a blown head gasket. Do a compression test to verify.

the # 1 piston read 180
the # 2 piston read 180
the # 3 piston read 185
the # 4 piston read 180

Well its not compression, probably injectors.I have seen 2 go out at once, not very common but not unheard of. Get a noid light and test the injector harness to be sure th elight flashes on every one, if it does the injectors are most likely bad, if not get back to me

Hi I got a noid light and tested the the injectors the light flashes on all injectors, I took off the air duct and found the tb dirty inside of it.
I will remove the injectors rail and clean everything

Pull the plugs and keep them in order. If any injectors arent working there should be a color difference in the spark plugs

Well I pulled the spark plugs out and the 2 that work had black powder around the tip and the other two were clean with no residue.

Sounds like bad injectors, no fuel getting into the cylinders

It took me a long time to get to fix my car. I did buy the injectors and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for all your help it really was usefull.
