1997 Geo Prizm gas

My car recently I noticed that is eating to much gas I change oil often 3000 miles what can the problem be. I usally fill the tank up once a week now I notice I have to do it every four days.

If your check engine light is not on, then it could be a bad injector, higher than normal fuel pressure or a leaking fuel pressure diaphram. Pull the vaccumm hose to the FPR and see if it has gasoline in it. If so it will need to be replaced.
