1997 Geo Prizm Check engine light

1997 Geo Prizm 4 cyl 150000 miles

I am not sure why but my check engine light is on. It doesn't stay on he comes on and goes off whenever it feels like it. Also, in the morning it takes like 5 min before it will crank.

Have your car scanned at some autoparts stores for free (call and ask first). This will give you a code and a direction to start with regard to what is wrong.

Take car to most autoparts stores and get charging system and battery checked.
